No, this isn't a forum to rename the site. But I stumbled upon something of interest today; did you know SmashWikia has a Spanish version?

...with over 700 articles. Smashpedia is the Spanish SmashWiki we left behind! In addition, German SmashWikia: "Hauptseite". What do you guys think we should do? Ask them to move too? (Spanish SWikia looks particularly awesome). --Havoc48 >:D!!! 16:36, 29 January 2012 (EST)

At the very least, we should try to contact them and make them aware of us (if they aren't already). Maybe they will want to move. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 16:39, 29 January 2012 (EST)
Oh wow well this is awkward, hehe, I have an account on SmashPedia too (because I'm who created SmashPedia) :D, and actually I think SmashPedia is fine where it is, but thanks for noticing us. :D
Hi I'm Fenix 02:41, 20 April 2013 (EDT)
Why not ask the SmashPedians to join SmashWiki? We could have a Spanish section as an alternative language. Awesome Cardinal 2000 07:43, 20 April 2013 (EDT)

we've already talked a year ago about leaving wikia, but the community decided that we're fine where we are, but I think we could add links like SmashPedia has information in spanish about this theme and Smashpedians could add SmashWiki tiene más información sobre este tema en inglés. but I'm not sure about it, a few months ago, we talked about an alliance with this wiki and with the wikia-domain smashwiki but we didn't decide nothing, so let's see what happens with>Hi I'm Fenix 10:55, 20 April 2013 (EDT)

Linking to Wikia goes against NIWA's ideals. BRAWLS BoFSig.png OF BoFSig.pngFURY 11:12, 20 April 2013 (EDT)

Oh well, then I guess is mpossible to create an alliance betwwen us, but it's nice to know how much people like these gamesin the world. :)

@Brawls of fury: Then it's Toasts ideals, which you just blindly follow.--PSIWolf a.k.a. Luna! 12:21, 20 April 2013 (EDT)
I see nothing wrong with believing reliable users more often than not. Especially since no one ever told me Toasts reasoning wrong. @Fenix14-15 fortunately my source was wrong so it is not impossible to create the alliance. BRAWLS BoFSig.png OF BoFSig.pngFURY 13:10, 20 April 2013 (EDT)
Oh well, the I think I will create a forum on SmashPedia to talk about the alliance between us and what we gonna do with the see more information :)
Hi I'm Fenix 13:37, 20 April 2013 (EDT)

The reason I remember most fondly as to why I claim SmashWiki ill-advises Wikia links is because of a spell when links to the Metal Gear Solid Wikia were all reverted, I do not recall who by. I was then willing to believe that Wikia links outside of userspace were forbidden, as the whole concept of NIWA is to conspire against money-driven wiki hosts, one of which is Wikia. Smashpedia, while I have not viewed it, sounds to be a good place. I'm just not sure NIWA would allow, especially when Smashpedia I would imagine is quite closely related to SmashWikia. Well, maybe I could ask for information on the community-central about the links with NIWA projects, but, as I said before we talked about moving from Wikia, why? because an user was cruelly judged by wikia-staff for conspiring against wikia by trying to make wikians to leave wika and make their wikia to move with them so, maybe add links out of wikia could be a problem to SmashPedians..., however I'm gonna ask for information and tell you what happens. About, how related is SmashPedia with SmashWiki I think in 100%, but honestly, SmashPedians are not interested on moving from Wikia.
Hi I'm Fenix 18:58, 20 April 2013 (EDT)
@Toast: The point of the matter is that it does not say in any of SmashWiki's policies that Wikia links are to be removed, as least as far as I know. If it was, someone would pointed it out by now.
@Fenix: Can we have a link to the forum where this is being discussed on SPedia? (And maybe a brief translation). --HavocReaper48 23:32, 20 April 2013 (EDT)
I haven't created the forum 'cause I'm waiting for an answer from the members of Wikia staff, but if I write that forum I will let you know, trust me, and the forum where we discussed about the alliance with you before, doesn't exist, cause it was a talk in SmashPedia's chat.
Hi I'm Fenix 23:41, 20 April 2013 (EDT)
Ok, I've created the forum on SmashPedia, you can see it here and now, all up's to what the community decides.Hi I'm Fenix 10:49, 24 April 2013 (EDT)
The decision is: No, the community have decided that we're fine right now in the way we are, and they think we can have some problems with, what we call "TdU" of Wikia. (TdU means "Terminos de uso" what would mean something like "Terms of service"). Hi I'm Fenix 02:28, 2 June 2013 (EDT)
