==Overview==
It involves the Mii Swordfighter lifting their sword and unleashing many low-knockback crescents of random colors in a chosen direction. It is similar to {{b|Wii Fit|Final Smash}} and bears a resemblance to the Sword Beam from {{Uv|The Legend of Zelda}} franchise. Compared to Wii Fit, Final Edge is much weaker, each slash dealing mediocre knockback, designed to overcome foes with its sheer number of slashes and drag them offstage for a KO.

This Final Smash is visually different between both versions of ''Super Smash Bros. 4''. In the Wii U version, the visual slashes are smaller and greater in number and fan outwards more, while in the 3DS version, the slashes are larger, fewer in number, and do not deviate in angle as much. Regardless, both versions use the same set of hitboxes, being an array of stationary hitboxes positioned relatively to Mii Swordfighter that progressively spawn further away and with larger radiuses as the move progresses, rather than being attached to the slashes themselves. Mii Swordfighter can unleash a powerful blow from its sword to anyone very close to it as it initiates the attack. This hitbox can KO opponents at moderate damage percentages.

In ''Super Smash Bros. Ultimate'', the move was given a significant overhaul, with the individual slashes now being actual projectiles which carry their own hitboxes, presumably due to the lack of need to optimise the move for a less powerful version of the game. Additionally, Mii Swordfighter now rapidly slashes their sword to release the crescents, though the sword has no actual hitboxes. The Final Smash has less range than it did before overall, but lasts longer and can rack up more hits, making it more suited for edgeguarding than KOing outright.

==Trivia==
*Possibly as a result of being a Final Smash used for pushing opponents off-screen, much like [[Mario Finale]], [[Doctor Finale]], or {{b|Wii Fit|Final Smash}}, it is the only Final Smash used by a Mii Fighter that does not trigger Finish Zoom.
*Final Edge is the only move in ''SSB4'' to vary depending on whether it is used on {{for3ds}} or {{forwiiu}}.
