Thicker outlines on sub-characters?

The "sub-characters" (i.e. Pokémon Trainer Pokémon and the Mii Fighter classes) have a much thicker outline than the other characters (or they have an outline of identical thickness, but proportionally larger due to smaller images). Piranha Plant's palette swap icons
