Arthur was announced as a {{SSBU|Mii Swordfighter}} costume on March 4th, 2021, and was released later that day, alongside {{SSBU|Pyra}} and {{SSBU|Mythra}}. The costume is based on Arthur's default plate armor design and wields a lance, the default projectile weapon given to the player at the start of most games in the series.
