Skill Super Smash Bros. Brawl Above Average

Hello there! I am a smasher from California that mostly plays "Brawl", and my skill is mostly above average. If you want to talk to me, go to my talk page (talk)

About me

As seen in my infobox, I am from Pleasanton, California. Currently, I am an 8th grader that goes to Harvest Park Middle School. Teachers and staff.... they're really nice. However, I seem to be one of the many people that dislikes the school cafeteria. The staff are very nice in general, but the food and drinks in general taste really really awful, so I usually bring my own lunch like many people. I also mostly spend time with my friends here in school, but I'm usually a quiet person.

When I'm not play smash, I play Mario games like Mario Kart and Punch Out: Wii!.

Here in SmashWiki, you'll mostly see me doing edits in attribute and moveset sections, but I can also fix spelling and grammar errors. In attribute sections, I make sure that every veteran for each game has falling speed, dashing speed, weight, walking speed, and air speed changes. In moveset sections, I usually add KO percentages for each move.

Like I said in my infobox, I only play "Brawl". Currently, my main is Meta Knight. I also play Lucario and Falco too, but I mainly focus on Meta Knight.

Each's of my main's pros and cons and what I think about the character.

Meta Knight

  • Buff Meta Knight in general has really good frame data, most notably his up aerial.
  • Buff Meta Knight has incredible attack speed.
  • Buff Meta Knight has many moves that can easily be chained into one another, giving him a good combo game.
  • Buff Meta Knight has a good offstage game, most notably his edgeguarding ability.
  • Buff Meta Knight's can easily pressure characters like Yoshi with his aerials and tilts.
  • Buff Mach Tornado covers a long horizontal distance and can be used for protection.
  • Buff All of his moves have transcendent priority.
  • Buff Meta Knight has fast dashing speed, allowing him to keep with his opponents easily.
  • Nerf Meta Knight has poor air speed, making it difficult to dodge certain attacks like Pikachu's Thunder.
  • Nerf Meta Knight suffers from being a lightweight character and having below average falling speed, meaning he is KO'd very easily both vertically and horizontally.

Overall, Meta Knight pros can allow him to play both aggressively and defensively. However, I feel like there are just only 2 areas that Meta Knight can work on. One is his air speed, the other being his endurance.

Lucario

  • Buff Lucario in general has attack speed.
  • Buff Due to the speed and knockback of Lucario's aerial attacks, he has a very strong air game.
  • Buff Lucario's aura grows stronger when its damage increases and when it falls behind in stocks.
  • Buff Aura Sphere can be used to KO opponents or edgeguard recoveries.
  • Nerf Lucario suffers from floaty falling speed, leaving it very suspectible to juggling.
  • Buff Its recovery can be bendable, allowing a variety of unpredictable recovery angles.
  • Nerf Lucario suffers from below average ground speed, allowing faster characters like Fox and Pikachu to combo it easily.

Overall, Lucario's not too bad in the metagame. Although I think there are just 2 areas he work on: ground speed and ending lag of his neutral air.

Falco

  • Buff Falco, in general, has quick attacks.
  • Buff Falco has great follow-up ability.
  • Buff Falco has good KO'ing options, most notably his forward smash.
  • Buff Falco has good jumping ability.
  • Buff Falco can wall jump.
  • Buff Falco's blaster shots are quick and can shut down recoveries.
  • Buff Down throw can set up a down air, which usually KO's around 50%.
  • Buff Down air can edgehog recoveries like Fox's.
  • Nerf Falco suffers from below average weight, allowing him to get KO'd horizontally easily.
  • Nerf Falco is easy to combo due to his fast falling speed and high gravity.
  • Nerf Falco's recovery can be easily edgeguarded and goes only a short distance.

Overall, Falco is decent choice for competitive play. I think there are 3 areas that Falco can on: endurance, recovery distance of Template:Fire Bird, and ground speed.
