Trivia

  • During the Smash 4 era, Cyrrona regularly hosted side brackets at Orbitar, including:
    • Doubles
    • Stamina Mode
    • Super Smash Odyssey, a singles bracket with a hazardous ruleset including Kalos Pokemon League, Pirate Ship, Mario Maker and more
    • Duck Hunter, a singles bracket in which players raced to KO a CPU

Side brackets were eventually discarded in 2018 due to time constraints.

  • GameWorks Seattle previously had a 10PM curfew for guests 18 and over, meaning that any minor players still in bracket were removed from the venue by that time. When an influx of strong teenage players such as moxi, pokepen, Ludo and JoJoDaHoBo began performing well at Orbitars, said players occasionally had to hide from staff to continue playing. After a 5-way pot split due to all but one player still in the tournament being under 18, an agreement was reached to allow minors in the venue area until the tournament ended.
  • October 2021 is the only month in which 3 Orbitars were held.
