GENESIS 8 is an upcoming national tournament and the 8th edition of the GENESIS tournament series. It is set to take place in San Jose, California, from January 28th-30th, 2022. The event will feature singles and doubles tournaments for Super Smash Bros., Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and will be a major event for Rivals of Aether, Guilty Gear Strive, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. GENESIS 8 will also feature side events for Dance Dance Revolution Extreme, Magical Drop III, and Super Street Fighter II Turbo.
