A highlight of the tournament included a crew battle between Victorian smashers and interstate visitors, who won a 10 man crew battle with 6 stock remaining. Bringer of Death won his second Australian tournament, eclipsing the efforts of CAOTIC, who had just returned from living in the United States. The state of Queensland produced some surprising results and proved themselves as a rising force in Australian smash, with Tristan placing 3rd and King Kong and Radiance placing 5th.
