Comrades 2, held in Melbourne in June 2007 by tournament director CAOTIC, was the most interstate/internationally mixed tournament Australia had seen. Proclaimed world champion SephirothKen entered as a special guest and easily took first place in a denizen of events. CAOTIC emerged as the highest ranked Australian, and the New South Wales community attended its first out-of-state tournament in full force. New Zealand Smashers were also a first, with DZ and PMD making a marked impression on the Australian Smash community, particularly in their doubles abilities and their unorthodox style of play.
