2GGT: ZeRo Saga is an upcoming national Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament and the one year anniversary event of the 2GGT tournament series. For the first time in the series, it will be a three-day event, and will be held at a new venue: the Rio Hotel at Las Vegas, Nevada, from December 16th to 18th, 2016. True to its namesake, ZeRo is a starring guest at the tournament, with it also featuring most of the players that have taken a set off of ZeRo in Smash 4. Donation pools have been made for eight of said smashers to assist the event. A pot bonus of $20,021.50 is also in play, $10,000.00 of that thanks to a partnership with Collegiate Colosseum, and the rest thanks to donations at the 2GGift Shop.

- Graphics artist Keith designed custom character skin mods for the USA and the World teams to wear during the crew battle, with each player's main character having an USA color scheme or a color scheme of their country of origin, depending on which team they belong.
