:I had that initially, but that would entail adding a ''lot'' of extra notes to a lot of extra pages, with questionable value to doing so. It also gets into weird gray areas (is [[Red Shell]] a costume "character"?) that I just didn't want to bother with. I figured this was an easier way to delineate what's notable and what's not. I'm already second-guessing myself, but bear with me here; before re-adding it, and before the relevant page is created, I want to get others' thoughts. I don't really know the series at all, but I am not sure what to do in the case of a conflict between what Smash calls the player character versus what the source series calls them.
