SSBM vs. SSBB version
It seems from a quick glance that one can spot the differences between the Melee version and the one for Brawl.

- You know that one platform at the very bottom? In Melee, it's got two levels. In Brawl, it's just one large platform. [1]
- Wait, hang on. I never remember that platform being there in Melee. I played on Temple just a few hours ago, and that lowest platform is exactly the way that it's shown there in Brawl. That Melee Temple picture is from the old Japanese Melee site, isn't it? That would explain it. It's beta, just like those strange, hexagonal platforms they had in the upper area of the stage. Resizing

Main Character
Hmmm. Isn't the brawl home stage for only zelda, shiek, and link temple? I thought that stage for ganondorf is "bridge of eldin" while the stage for toon link is the pirate ship from wind waker. - all three stages are all of their homes. in all-star mode, the stage is randomly selected between those three, and all zelda characters will appear --Lupercaleb (talk) 18:52, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

Banned because it forces the game to take on a role completely different from any other stage.
Yeah that's not judgmental or loaded at all. Why don't we alter it to "Banned because it forces the player to think in a different way and not do the same thing over and over on a handful of extremely similar maps". Yeah it's a fact it's banned, but frankly the tone of the section discussing it seems to be awfully biased in assuming automatically that this is a valid thing, acutally the entire section seems to focus more on trying to justify it then providing any useful information. I agree that this section seems to be biased, and that section should be rewritten in a more neutral tone, but it does provide some useful information onto why Temple is banned. However, I like how this page goes into detail on why it is banned. - I picked consistency with "Mushroom Kingdom" and "Mushroom Kingdom II"; I believe "Hyrule Temple" is the more commonly-used name. The fact that Brawl uses the name "Temple" is kind of irrelevant, since the stage "belongs" to Melee, and we never changed Congo Jungle when Melee fixed its spelling. Toomai Glittershine

- I agree with Toomai, tbh. If we're going to talk about standardization, Mushroom Kingdom and Mushroom Kingdom II are exceptions too, so why can't Hyrule Temple be one too? That name just makes more sense. DoctorPain99 {ROLLBACKER} 15:10, 8 January 2012 (EST)
