Lose Progress

That's the thing: you don't know how severe a game crash is until you restart the game. If you still have game data, the crash is not severe. If game data is lost, it's severe. I did it, & I didn't lose progress. To be honest, it was fun. I feel like I want to do it again. Maybe this is probably a way to crash the game in Smash 4. (Smashworker101 (talk) 20:59, 16 November 2014 (EST))

Crash method in Brawl

You can crash Brawl if you have two Lucarios at 300% on the same team charging their Aura Spheres right next to each other. Have another teammate throw Hotheads into their Aura Spheres. After a few Hotheads, especially big ones, are thrown in, the screen will start to shake violently. I've personally seen this being capable of crashing the game before.
