Steel City Smash is a mini-documentary directed by Sam Degregorio. It is based around the Pittsburgh Melee Community and the rise of Abate, a Luigi main smasher, during The Big House 5 who placed 7th in the tournament. Notable matchup of players seen against Abate include: Hax, Darkrain, Duck, Axe, and S2J, Mango, and Shroomed. Other notable tournaments seen in the documentary includes Zenith 2013, Fight Pitt 5 and The Big House 4.
