Drew is one of the most diverse players in FCNL2, having generally 3 characters he uses for tournaments and counterpicks. One of the most respected figures in the smash community, Drew has recently acquired the position as moderator of the Southwest forum; it's safe to say that it's a love/hate relationship. In addition to filtering through mounds of Texas-sized spam, Drew has also earned the honor (or misfortune) of being the Captain of the South(west) team in the latest installment of the FC series. His strategy involves what he calls 'really gay counterpicks' - such as using DoH's Peach advantage on Mute City versus Drephen's Sheik in order to lure out Darkrain to take on the Peach, and finally using his own Sheik to take out Darkrain - thus eliminating two of the top players from the Midwest without expending top players from the South. Continuing in this train of though, he was one of the first Sheiks to pionier using Brinstar as a counterpick against space animals, something so dirty only Peach players would have done before. Usually teaming with Chang-sta, a long time friend, the two compromise a dangerous mix of team work and strategy.
Trivia
- One of the original members of the Dkrew, one of the first crews and hosts of the MOAST tournament series.
- No one really knows where he got his Ph.D, but he does use 'Ph.D' as a tag instead of DREW in order to avoid Sheik confusion with Drephen
- Much like Azen, Drew likes to match his character's color to his controller slot (ie, 2nd Player = Blue Sheik)
