Delphiki is a pro-am Ice Climbers player from Sacramento, CA, and a member of the crews TeamScape and Nova. He has traveled and competed up and down the West Coast numerous times competing in SSBM. His tournament results consistently place him among the top 30% of Smashers on the West Coast.
Delphiki mains Ice Climbers and Pichu in Melee. In Brawl, he continues to main the Ice Climbers, with the addition of Zero Suit Samus.
Contributions
Delphiki has written a guide on competitive smash play which focuses on the fluidity and nature of the metagame. It explains the nature of the metagame as related to characters, tournament rules, the community, and the individual player. He has also created a guide to playing the Ice Climbers at a competitive level, featured on AllisBrawl.com.
In addition to guides, Delphiki also maintains a blog on All is Brawl which covers Smash theory among other topics.
Most tournaments in the Sacramento community were organized or co-organized by Delphiki. In addition to local tournaments, Delphiki was a staff member at Super Champ Combo, and has aided TOs at a number of other major tournaments, including OC3 (for which he aided with funding), and the NorCal Ultimate Biweekly.
