Policy.png This page documents an official SmashWiki policy, a widely accepted standard that all users should follow. When editing this page, please ensure that your revision reflects consensus. If in doubt, consider discussing changes on the talk page.

Users are encouraged to make constructive edits to contribute to the usefulness, validity, and depth of SmashWiki. Behavior such as the following, however, is not allowed:

  • Vandalism of any kind.
  • Derogatory edits or comments directed at others on any page, in any namespace.
  • Aggressive behavior toward other editors or otherwise hindering our ability to encourage contributions.
  • Adding or removing of content to a page after being directed not to by an administrator.
  • Repeated violation of policies, such as the image upload policy, or submitting copyrighted works without permission.

Users who violate these rules may be warned by an administrator any number of times (including zero). If violations continue, the administrator may block the user from editing for any period of time.

Blocks themselves do not apply outside of SmashWiki. However, in certain cases, a user may have his account banned on Smash World Forums in addition to being blocked on SmashWiki. Any user who is banned on the forums is also not permitted to edit SmashWiki.

In addition, per SWF policy, users are not permitted to hold more than one account, even if one of their accounts has been banned or blocked.
