Salavatore holds a very minor role in the games The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. In both games, he runs minigame stalls that Link can partake in to earn rewards. In Wind Waker, he can be found in a room under the windmill on Windfall Island, where he lets you play a battleships-like game where you choose a cell to hopefully bomb down sea monsters. He also appears out at sea with a game where you must bomb invading barrells that are floating in the water (although, Salvatore insists they are pirates.)

In Phantom Hourglass he returns, located near the shore of east Banan Island, and you can play a target-shooting game by toching various targets located around a pre-set course out at sea.

Salvatore was a character that most players remember for his humour: in both games, he has a simple stand with funny cut-out props to animate the instructions for his games, and is always slumped on his desk.

In Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Salvatore appears as a randomly collectable Trophy and as a Sticker.

Trophy Description

"A guy who runs the minigame where you try to sink groups of giant squid with a set number of shots for prizes. Not only is the game fun, but his little one-man play using the funky little illustrated props leaves quite an impression. If you say you didn't understand his explanation, the expression on his face is priceless."

Sticker Effect

[Electric] Attack + 9 (applicable to Link, Toon Link, Zelda and Ganondorf).
