Replay is a feature in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It allows you to view replays of gameplay that you have saved such as: VS Mode matches, Stadium mode, etc. Videos can only be saved if they are 3 minutes or shorter. It is possible to save the replays to an SD Card. It was also possible to send them to Nintendo to be used for the Smash Service.

Replays used for Smash Service are all from Stadium mode, due to their typically shorter length and file size.

Reports from YouTube users state that replays may alter what had been recorded (this is fixed in the PAL version), so indeed replays are just that: re-plays. Although there are witnesses to the Wi-Fi battles, none of these have been proven since no one has taken the time to record both the actual battle and the replay in the same video. This is on a multi-user basis, meaning it is not a description or comment rumor linked to one Brawl group.
