Piranha Plants are a carnivorous plant in the Mario. There aremany types of Piranha Plants, including them who don't comes up from pipes when a character is on or beside them, the one that do do it anyway, some spits fire, some don't have pipes, some isn't bound to the mark and so on.
In the Super Smash Bros. series
In Super Smash Bros.
Piranha Plants sometimes appears out of the pipes on the Mushroom Kingdom stage. They are enemies and don't seems to have a settled coming between the two pipes.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Althrough Piranha Plants theyself hasn't be confirmed to reappear, Petey Piranha, the first boss of the Subspace Emissary, is a Piranha Plant. [1]
