Ness

Ness was first introduced in the Mother/Earthbound series. Ness is from Onett. He has been in both Super Smash Bros. games. It is unlikely whether he will appear be in Super Smash Bros. Brawl since Sakuari made a statement involving Lucas, "There’s a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now..." He has a baseball bat and a yo-yo he has used as weapons. He also has a psychic mind that has the ability to learn special PK powers.

Availability

Ness is a default character in Super Smash Bros. Melee. In Super Smash Bros., he must be unlocked. To unlock him, players must complete one player mode on the normal difficulty level or higher with only three lives without continuing.

Trivia

In Super Smash Bros., Ness sounded like he had a German accent while in Melee, he sounded more English.
