For moves and stuff, do you need word on how good the move is? What it does? Yo'ster (talk) 17:00, April 26, 2024 (EDT)

Preferably it would include information about follow-ups, its role in other combos, its effectiveness, shortcomings, other uses (such as edge-guarding, as a "get-off me" tool, etc.). All of these aren't required (or applicable, for example Luigi (SSBM)/Dash attack has next to nothing in terms of effectiveness) but the more the better. --CanvasK (talk) 17:21, April 26, 2024 (EDT)
You should go to the pages for King K. Rool and certain other characters for the best examples of in-depth analysis of characters' moves. These overviews were written by character experts. I highly recommend you seek out the opinions and examples of many players with experience before you start writing so you have well rounded and thoughtful data. Okay, got it. Writing about that kind of cool nerdy stuff is right up my alley! Yo'ster (talk) 21:28, April 26, 2024 (EDT)

Is this a good competitive expertise summary? Cloud (SSB4)/Down aerial —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yo'ster (talkcontribs) 21:32, April 26, 2024 (EDT)

It is sometimes hard to gauge if the overview is enough or not (especially for someone with little competitive knowledge like myself). Only things I can think of adding are throws/common combos that can lead into it as a finisher, if they exist. --CanvasK (talk) 19:31, April 27, 2024 (EDT)
It's a good start, but is actually pretty short and doesn't give any examples. It's a good start, but, knowing how good Cloud's down air is in Smash 4, this is not enough. Hitbox Enthusiast Zeck (talk) 15:10, April 28, 2024 (EDT)

Should I add more about specific stuff it combos with and recoveries it's good for edgeguarding then?
