According to a recent [http://smashboards.com/threads/source-gaming-sakurai-on-corrin-bayonetta-and-value.430624/ interview with sakurai], the last update we got for the final DLC characters is the absolute last one. There will be no more DLC or updates/patches of any kind. Oh boy... Welp, if there is ever a great time to release an official tier list, it's hours before a major update. Regardless of people being tl;dr salty over which character is placed where, having a J tier reminds me of elementary school when kids would say you could get a -Z on your report card if you're dumb enough. 11 letters? Really?
I don't fully agree with this list. (No one does obviously). But being unbiased as possible I can safely say that the nature of SSB4 makes it harder than ever to definitively say one character is better than another. There are over a thousand 1v1 MUs possible for Christ's sake!

According to a recent interview with sakurai, the last update we got for the final DLC characters is the absolute last one. There will be no more DLC or updates/patches of any kind. Everyone who worked on SSB4 are apparently moving onto other things, sakurai him self going on a vacation.
