Depends on whatever scene you're referring to...different tournaments have had different rulesets, including what stages are legal. I believe the most common stagelist atm allows Battlefield, Final Destination, and Yoshi's Island as starters; omega forms can either be starters or counterpicks. Prism Tower is an occasional counterpick. I'm pretty sure that the most recent SSB 3DS nationals so far (all of which are Japanese tournaments) change this up though; I've mostly been seeing omega forms in those tournaments. It's probably too early to determine the most accurate stagelist; can we not wait until Apex 2015? Forums: Index Smash 4 Talk Banned Stages in Smash 3DS

Does the competitve community already have a list of banned stages?

  • Stages I know will be banned because they're walf-offs or moving are:
    • 3D Land
    • Mushroomy Kingdom
    • Golden Plains
    • Gerudo Valley
    • Dream Land
    • Unova Pokémon League
    • Flat Zone 2
    • Warioware, Inc. (during minigames)
    • Distant Planet
    • Boxing Ring
    • Gaur Plain
    • Balloon Fight
    • Living Room
    • Green Hill Zone

I know Magicant and Wily's Castle will be banned for random elements and unfair advantage. Anything else?
