Sometimes I'll just be scrolling through a page, and then all of the text both below and above just doesn't load. This has happened fairly commonly in the last month or so. I'm also recently getting ads here that cover literally the entire screen (not even like fandom where a little bit of the text is visible, I do mean literally the entire screen), which normally isn't a big deal, but I can't exit out of the ad or scroll past it. The only option for either of these issues to close the window and try again, or go back to the previous page and wait for a relatively significant amount of time. I also noticed a different mobile layout when logged in versus logged out, does this have something to do with these glitches? Unnamed anon (talk) 03:00, December 10, 2022 (EST)

The same thing happened to me, the difference being that i had to go back all the way to Google for the page to work again. GameDestroyer2008 (talk) 03:39, December 10, 2022 (EST)

Doesn't sound like these had happened to me. Nothing has blocked any site content for me so I edit normally like I always do. Or perhaps my adblocker does help with the ad part. But I am pretty sure ads only show up when you are not logged in. And yeah u have a different layout as an IP pretty sure thats normal. But you still get stuffs like noticeable message notification normally I think. Grand Dad.png NPM Morr!? A legit emoji in the Smash Asia server. 05:17, December 10, 2022 (EST)
You shouldn't be getting ads while logged in. I rarely use the mobile site, but last time I did I was on a fighter page and when I scrolled it only showed white; granted I was being impatient with letting it load and was rapidly refreshing to check something. The only thing I'm aware of that changes mobile's layout between logged in or out is a different top bar (where the edit and history buttons are), the removal of ads, and the option to enable "Advanced mode" in the Settings (maybe SmashWiki Beta too which is in the Settings). Here are a few things you can try on your end that may help: Disable extensions (if your browser supports them) one-by-one until things feel stable; Clear your browser cache and/or cookies (this will either be in History or Privacy); Close the browser app, maybe even go into its settings and force stop it; Restart your device. --CanvasK (talk) 06:49, December 10, 2022 (EST)
