Event Match 49: All-Star Match Deluxe is one of the 51 Event Matches from the Event Mode in Super Smash Bros. Melee. This event follows the All-Star match format, as you change stages after every match, retaining your damage and lives.
Trivia
- All of the characters you fight are clones of other characters
- During the battle with Dr. Mario, the music that plays is the normal Mushroom Kingdom music, not his theme.
- Also, during the match against Ganondorf, Great Bay plays.
- By coincidence, four of the six are characters who appeared in Melee but not Brawl, Dr. Mario, Roy, Young Link, and Pichu, are fought in this match.
- The Super Smash Bros MELEE Official Strategy Guide from Brady Games even said that the tip for this event, was that you had to choose Bowser or Mewtwo for this event because for high damage quickly, you must try using either Bowser or Mewtwo. To make this event easy, pick either Bowser or Mewtwo for high damage in the CPUs- Dr. Mario, Falco, Pichu, Young Link, Roy, and Ganondorf. They'll get high damage if you are Bowser or Mewtwo. Bowser and Mewtwo are the best characters for this event.
