Event Match 13: Yoshi's Egg is an Event Match available in Event Mode in Super Smash Bros. Melee. The character that is used is Yoshi, and there are 55 seconds to protect an egg from getting destroyed.
This event could be a symbolic reference to how after the dinosaurs became extinct, mammals took over as the dominant class of animals. In this match, you control Yoshi (a dinosaur), and the opponents are all mammals (Pikachu being a mouse, Fox McCloud a fox, and Donkey Kong an ape).
