The Coin Launcher in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

The Coin Launcher is a trophy-snagging minigame in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. It is essentially a replacement of the Lottery feature from Super Smash Bros. Melee.

The Coin launcher, as the name implies, is a machine that uses coins as projectiles. Using the launcher, coins are shot at trophies to obtain them. The shoot button can be held down, and when released the coin will be launched much faster than usual. Occasionally, indestructible metal spheres appear that act as obstacles. Stationary pits that coins fall into may also appear with the metal spheres. There are 4 enemy types and most of them have a few different patterns in which they move.

Destroying full groups of smaller enemies earns stickers and bonuses. One of these bonuses is part of the green gauge filling up. When the gauge completely fills up, three trophies appear, and coins can be shot out at a faster rate. Once a certain time has passed, the gauge empties. Another bonus is a certain amount of coins, that can range from 10 to 50. There are also periodic missiles that will deduct coins if they hit the lower section of the coin launcher, or give bonuses when destroyed. The missiles may also reduce the charge in the green gauge.

The trophy distribution is set up so that uncollected trophies will appear more often as you destroy groups of enemies.[1]

The counters for trophies and stickers do not exceed 99. However, it is possible to earn more than 99 trophies or stickers at one time.

Also, rotating the C-Stick on the GameCube Controller will move your viewpoint, much like on the Main Menu.
