A '''Cloaking Device''' is an item in [[Super Smash Bros. Melee]] that makes the user invisible, though movement slightly reveals their position. Damage cannot be added while a character is invisible, but knockback still applies, meaning you can still KO invisible characters. Every time you KO an opponent while invisible, you get points for an Invisible KO bonus.

Cloaking Device and Computers

When you use the cloaking device, you are invisible to other players to some extent (See above for details). The same applys to when computers use the cloaking device, you can only see them to some extent, however when a human player is playing against a computer and the human player uses a cloaking device the computer does is not affected in anyway. The computer can still see whatever character you are using as though you do not have one on at all.
