The unnoficially-named Smash Emblem (Also called Smash Orb or Smash Badge) is an item shown to debut in SSBB. It appears to allow the user to activate an especially powerful Super Smash attack.
It is unknown whether this item can be picked up or if it is activated by touching it. It is also unknown whether it can be used only once or multiple times. In the E3 2006 trailer, Mario is shown grabbing the Smash Emblem before using his Super Smash attack, though it is not known if this reflects how the item is used in-game or if it was a cinematic decision for the trailer.
