Event Match 10: All-Star Match 1 is the tenth event of the 51 Event Matches in the Event Mode of Super Smash Bros. Melee. This Event Match requires the player, with only 2 stock, to defeat five Mario-verse characters in succession. After defeating an opponent, you're instantly taken to the next stage with a fresh opponent, and the player's damage is carried over.
Trivia
The DK Rap plays on Jungle Japes during the battle with Donkey Kong (normally it is only heard on the Kongo Jungle stage).
This is the only All-Star Match wherein all the characters are related to the same series (in this case, the Mario series).
