Zero Suit Samus is a character appearing in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Samus will discard her armor to become Zero Suit Samus. She appears to use a laser gun/whip as a weapon. According to a post from Masahiro Sakurai on Smash Bros. Dojo, Samus will remove her suit and turn into Zero Suit Samus under "certain conditions." He also notes that Zero Suit Samus lacks power and stamina compared to Samus, but is faster.
Based on the most recently released trailer for SSBB, Zero Suit Samus will be most comparable to Sheik. It was also seen that Zero Suit Samus will be able to change from whip to laser gun at will.
