Pidgit is an enemy that appeared in Super Mario Bros. 2 as a some-what common enemy. They pick you up and kill you.

in super smash bros melee

pidgets randomly appear and pick you up. this can help characters who abuse spikes and meteor smashes, but also can drag you of the top Blast line

Pigits are blue birds that travel on magic carpets. They have orange beaks, round eyes and red feet.
