Pokey Minch.

Pokey Minch (ポーキー・ミンチ, Pōkī Minchi, Porky Minch), also called The Pig King or King P in Mother 3, is a character that originated in EarthBound.

Character Description

Pokey was originally Ness' neighboor. His family had eventually bad with it's economy, as they may have loaned a few hundred dollars from Ness' father. He also had the little-brother Picky, mother Lardna and father Aloysius. He temporiarly joins Ness to find his little brother, which is set next-to a meteorite. They also finds Buzz Buzz, a bee-like crature from ten years in the future to tell Ness that he and three other heroes are said to stop the evil Giygas and the Starmen's plans. He convinces himself about that he is not one of the heroes. He eventually joins the Happy Happy cult, with even some of the followers to attack Ness and his friends.

After the cult is disbanded, he and his father starts working as business consulants for Mayor Monotoli. He uses the money to live a luxorious life, but steals Monotolis helicopter when he (Monotoli) is confronted by Ness. It crashed into the Deep Darkness Swamp. He is then not seen until he appears with Giygas, claiming that Giygas lead him the whole time and that he serves as the the strong and able. He epresses to Ness that Giygas SHALL destory the whole universe. He battles Ness in a spider-like machine. When Giygas is destroyed, he time travels into another era, but not before taunting Ness one last time. His last message comes through Picky and says "Come and get me, loser!"

Sometime before the events of Mother 3, he creates the Pig Army and creates stange chimeras everywhere through Nowhere Island. Before Lucas meet him, no had seen him so his real identity was a big mystery. Due to a sideaffect of time traveling he had aged a number of years and has become trapped in his current. He himself comments that he can be thousand or even ten thousand when Lucas meets him. His mind, however, don't seems to have been aged with him as his immaturity and cowardice reamins the same as in EarthBound.

During the last chapter, he builds New Pork City, claims himself to be the ruler of the world and relocates the people of Nowhere Island into this higly advanced city. It resambles a amusement park and is filled with pictures of the young Pokey, most notably, a giant statue topped with a crown. The room that leads to his throne room has a boat ride through a museum with things from himself, including the Phase Disorter and the spider mech, both from EarthBound. After defeat, he encapsulates himself and his mecha-bed in the "Absolutely Safe Machine", a completly indestructable device made by Dr. Andnouts with is used as a safe haven for Pokey during emergencies. However, Andnuts designed that, upon activation, nobody could enter or exit it upon activation, dooming Pokey to spend the rest of his life in isolation, newver being able to interact with anybody.

In Super Smash Bros.

Both of his enemies, Ness and Lucas, are playable (Ness in the original and Melee, and Lucas in Brawl. Also, New Pork City is a stage in Brawl where a statue of him appear in the right corner of the stage. In addition, Porky's Theme is, as the name implies, his main song in Brawl.
