Scamp is a retired Melee player, generally active in the early years of Melee's life as a competitive game. He mained Fox, though he is known to have played Sheik and Peach at some tournaments. In doubles, he often teamed with Sultan of Samitude.

Scamp became inactive in 2004, with Game Over being his last known tournament appearance. Despite his short career, Scamp's name has become ingrained in the professional Melee scene; his name is immortalised as part of Dave's Stupid Rule, though the reason for why the rule became associated with him is unknown.
