this article makes it seem like planking is brawl exclusive(an issue that appears in several articles). planking is available in all the games, although i believe it is usually called ledge-stalling in melee(i have never heard it called planking in melee, though i understand the need for a universal term and it makes sense to use most popular term). | |||
the latest revision of this page removed a lot of info about planking in melee. while it may be more effective in brawl, it does exists in every game. | |||

Planking vs ledgestalling
this article makes it seem like planking is brawl exclusive(an issue that appears in several articles). planking is available in all the games, although i believe it is usually called ledge-stalling in melee(i have never heard it called planking in melee, though i understand the need for a universal term and it makes sense to use most popular term).
the latest revision of this page removed a lot of info about planking in melee. while it may be more effective in brawl, it does exists in every game.
