Young Link was a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Young Link's model was based on the child Link model from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. This character is nearly identical to Link. There are a few noticible differences including his weight, size, speed and special moves. Young Link uses fire arrows instead of regular arrows and he wields a wooden shield instead of a Hylian shield. It is unknown if he will return in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
