Giant Donkey Kong first appeared in SSB's 1-Player Game as a giant opponent with has two regular-sized 2 AI partners. DK has little knockback when attacked while his own attacks sent opponents flying, making him a formidable opponent on higher difficulties. In SSBM, his normal Super Mushroom variety appears in the second stage of Adventure Mode. An immensely large version (over twice as large as the normal Super Mushroom DK) appears in the Event Match Gargantuan Battle against a similarly-sized Bowser.
