Golden Hammer: Difference between revisions

The Golden Squeaky Hammer is an item in SSBB. Although indistinguishable from a normal Golden Hammer, it is completely useless in terms of attacking; instead of the usual heavy damage and knockback, it simply squeaks when it strikes a foe, causing no ill effect. This is the Golden Hammer's parallel to the normal Hammer's Headless Hammer. The Golden Squeaky Hammer does however grant the floating abilities of the normal Golden Hammer. Also, when characters are hit by a Golden Hammer within the brief period of invincibility after being respawned, the Golden Hammer will most likely become squeaky. Oddly enough characters with counters like Marth can still counter the attack despite the squeaky hammer not doing any damage. The Golden Squeaky Hammer is in fact safer than the Headless Hammer since opponents cannot use the hammer against the user.
