Lip's Stick is a very unique item in both SSBM and SSBB that, when used to hit an opponent, causes a flower grow on a the character's head. The harder a character is hit, the bigger and longer the flower stays on his or her head. It is possible to make the flower fall off if the player with said flower smashes the control stick back and forth.  It originates from Panel De Pon. When used in a side or smash attack, it will spray dust a short distance which has the same effect as if the character were hit physically by Lip's Stick. Once the dust runs out, the Lip's Stick will only create very small flowers, even with repeated hits.
Lip's Stick is an item that appears in both SSBM and SSBB. Originating from the Japanese puzzle game Panel de Pon, it was wielded by main character Lip.

*Does about 3% damage every second when the flower grown on your head.
In SSBM
*When A is tapped, it does between 2-4% damage.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee, Lip's Stick is classified as a bashing item with a very helpful side effect; when a character is struck by the item, a flower sprouts on their head that does continual damage. Tilt and smash attacks cause the item to release "dust" that has the same effect of flower growth, but doesn't do as much damage. Repeated use of the item, as well as tilts and smashes with the item, cause the flower to grow bigger, making it longer lasting and thus dealing more damage. The item itself, however, has very little knockback, and the item has a limited amount of dust with which to grow flowers; once the dust runs out, the item becomes practically useless. The flower on top of a player's head can also be shaken off by repeated smashing of the Control Stick.
*When fully charged, it does between 13-22% damage.

*When dropped, it does 5-9% damage.
In SSBB
*When thrown at the opponent, it does between 13% damage.
Lip's Stick was shown in a Smash Bros Dojo update concerning Munchlax. Though no details about it have been revealed, it is assumed that it will have the same effects as it did in SSBM.
