*One screenshot from the game noticeably portrayed Incineroar surrounded by other video game villains, making it the default Pokémon "villain" character in this game, instead of Mewtwo. This may have been due to the fact that considering that said villains are all portrayed as being truly evil, while the Mewtwo in particular, despite being given an antagonistic role in the first ''Pokémon'' movie, ended up redeeming itself and eventually became a more benevolent character in later appearances, therefore technically making it an antihero at its worst, Incineroar's "villainy", Dark-type aside, is most likely due to the fact that unlike said Mewtwo, Incineroar has absolutely no sense of morality, and therefore more likely to side with said villain characters, much like how Pokémon belonging to villainous human characters are like that since unlike said human villains, their lack of morality essentially mean that they are willing to side with anyone regardless of their alignment.
