As a member of one of the earliest allied crews in the smash community, Mike has been competing at Melee since at least 2002. His earliest accomplishments with Punch Crew are well recognized all across Canada as being representative of the weight of professional smashers nationwide and include a recorded 2005 Alberta vs. B.C. crew battle and various local community contributions.

Mike attended the Zero Challenge as one of few Canadian participants, finishing in a split for 33rd place in a field of 192 entrants and defeating internationally recognized players including KillaOR and CAOTIC.

Although Punch Crew's general involvement went into decline over the 2006-2007 period, Mike has still participated in several recent events, including a first place finish at the second CAST event in Red Deer and 5th amongst a field of strong western Canadian competitors at Carl's Tournament #3 in Edmonton.
