Final Smash

The name of Lucario's Final Smash is unknown. What is known is that his Final Smash involves him jumping into the air and firing a large beam down on the stage. The beam can be aimed and can deal a maximum of about 40% damage.

Accidental Confirmation

On January 18th, 2008 an updated video at Wii.com was released that people have interpretted to mean that Nintendo accidentally confirmed him, Ness, and Jigglypuff to appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In the new Japanese trailer for the game on the time 4:20 and 4:21 images of stickers are shown, including Groudon, Claus, and Sonic. If paused on 4:20, immediately when Groudon is highlighted, the characters that the sticker can be attached to are shown as icons in the bottom right corner. It shows the icons of Pikachu, Pokemon Trainer, and what players have taken to be Lucario and Jigglypuff.

Availability

Lucario is a hidden character in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and can be unlocked by performing one of the three following tasks.

  • Defeat him in The Subspace Emissary.
  • Complete 4 Target Tests with any character.
  • Play 200 VS. matches.

Presumedly of you do one of the latter 2 tasks, you will have to fight Lucario to unlock him, but this is not confirmed.
