20XX Melee Training Hack Pack is a hack of Super Smash Bros. Melee that is designed to help players train for tournaments. 20XX is current on its version 3.02 (released November 3, 2014). 20XX Tournament Edition is an separate, independent project being developed by Dan "Internet Explorer" Salvato that is a lightweight edition of 20XX that can be loaded onto a GameCube memory card.

Major Changes

  • The default rules are set to tournament rules (4 stocks, 8 minutes, items off, etc.).
  • All characters and stages are unlocked immediately.
  • The pause camera can rotate and zoom out freely.
  • A list of Action Replay codes and other settings, in a fashion that is similar to the debug menu replaces Tournament Mode.
  • After a match is complete, A and B can be held to start another match with the same characters, stage, and settings. This is also known as a salty runback.
  • Stage striking is available on the stage select screen.
  • Most normally single-player-only stages, such as the All-Star Rest Area and Trophy Tussle stages, are playable in versus mode.
