The Smash Files was a series of articles in Nintendo Power magazine which covered the confirmed characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl one by one. It ended after it had covered all of the confirmed characters at the time. After it had covered all announced characters, there was speculation that further issues would reveal new characters. However, when the next issue was released, the section was absent and never returned, even after the announcement of new characters.
