Hammer (item)

The hammer Is an item that appears in Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee. It may appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When a character picks up a hammer, they swing it in their hands until it disappers after a few seconds. getting hit by a swinging hammer results in massive damage and great knockback.(2) when a character is holding a hammer, they lose the ability to use other attacks, run, or mid-air jump. In Super Smah Bros. Melee, the head of the hammer has a 10% chance of coming off when the hammer is picked up. (3) When a hammer head has come off, players may use it as a throwing item. In matches where bonuses are awarded, the "Headless Hammer" bonus is given to any player who picked up a hammer and the head came off.
