T-Sticking is where the C-Stick/Right Controller Stick is set to Attack instead of Smash. T-Sticking got its name from the fact that the C-Stick is being set to a different function like B-Sticking, and that it's a shortcut for tilts (hence the T).
These are techniques that are possible with the T-Stick setup.
Central Movement
If you tilt the C-Stick in a diagonal direction in midair, you'll do your N-air. Since this doesn't require you to have the Left Controller Stick in any specific position, you can move horizontaly and do your N-air at the same time.
Instant Dash Attack
If you tilt the C-Stick in any direction right after you start your dash, you can start up a Dash Attack during the frames of the start up dash animation instead of your Forward Smash. Since doing this preforms a dash attack, you can cancel it into an Up Smash as well.
No Fast Fall D-air
In Melee, if you used a D-air with the control stick + A button method, you would fast fall as you did it. This returns in Brawl. However, in Melee, if you used the C-stick for a D-air, you would not fast fall. If the C-stick is set to Smash in Brawl, then you will fast fall when doing the D-air. However, if it is set to attack, you will not fast fall.
