Aphelion (a.k.a. Rock) is a Mexican smasher and member/co-founder of the Acapulco-based Ultra Violence Crew.
Background
Originally a member of a crew called Gamers Force, Aphelion is a significant contributor to the competitive tournament community in Mexico since his joining Ultra Violence Crew in 2005. As a crew, they travelled to promote SSBM play in and around their area.
Tournament Activity
For unknown reasons, Aphelion was unable to attend Smash-Mex 1, which came about as a result of the growing Mexican tournament scene, however he has recently finished in first place following a 2v2 tournament wherein he was teamed with fellow crewmate 1233.
It is expected that Aphelion will participate in the upcoming Smash-Mex 2, hosted by Ultra Violence Crew.
