Throughout the game, Samus must explore the ruins of the deceptively ancient-looking civilization and uncover the reason that the Chozo disappeared. During the beginning tutorial part of the game,Frigate Orpheon is a space-station that orbits around Tallon IV that Samus explores. This area, too, is abandoned, though the reason is obvious; Space pirates attacked the station, obviously in a hurry and obviously looking for something.
