[https://ssbworld.com/blog/104/explaining-untechable-situations] Ruben says it is intentional here, and I would agree, since this seems to be the only move in the game with such a weakness, and it's on a character that has a bad recovery by default. :Alright, that makes sense, the flag thing doesn't sound like it could be a mistake. I added back the "intentionally" with that page as a source. Weird how it doesn't happen when reeling though. == Do both Brawl and Smash 4 omit Pokémon and Assist Trophies on certain stages? ==
Ever since Ultimate's rule of not allowing all assist trophies, Pokémon or even items on every single stage, that got me curiously wondering after 10 years of Brawl's release date... what happens if you spawn [insert assist trophy character with a very unique property here] on a small stage or a moving stage?!? Believe it or not, I spent 10 years of Brawl's existence not knowing nor being aware what Devil does, being that he completely moves blastzones (not just/only camera-angles) from place to place in any particular stage, and I also didn't think of what would happen if you summon Andross, Ho-Oh or Lugia in a stage with very-close walls in the background or placing middair Bumpers in moving stages, so much etcetera. (Yeah, neither can I believe that Ultimate was how long it took me to realize the potential breaks of particular effects in Smash Bros).
What I really want to know is if Brawl omitts Assist Trophies (especially Devil) on certain stages (I already know about items since I tested Bumpers which never spawn on moving stages, I also tested items with size-changing effects in Wii U through Garden of Hope and TGCO outside Training Mode, so no-need to inform me about which items don't appear on which stages, given that item-switch really helps out with this curiousity) and if the same thing applies with SSB4, I would love for someone to make a "complete chart between Assisting characters and their stage availabilities" because just uncovering the limits Ultimate makes is too easy to check by going through SSBU's Training Mode anyways. And finally, I just want to find an internet page that confirms me whether or not this character can appear on that stage in this older Smash game, because some stages (like Delfino Plaza) in SSBBrawl's training mode have been tested by me, and never once have I ever encountered a Devil because Random Assist Trophies just forces you to wait until you get the one you actually want.
*sigh* I am so very sorry for this message being this long. Yeah, without further ado, lemme know if you and/or any other admins and/or chat-moderators have enough clue about Brawl and SSB4's stage omitions on any particular Assist Trophies (or also Pokémons too, of course) so that I can be fully aware. I've officially rest my case, peace out! ✌ [[User:NinTOONdo|NinTOONdo]] ([[User talk:NinTOONdo|talk]]) 15:51, July 3, 2020 (EDT)
A quick thing, this user hasn't been active since November of last year. Furthermore, he is not an administrator.
